Skin Microbiome Balance

When harmful microbes overgrow, it triggers irritation, odour and coat damage. Our protocol restores balance.

Skin Microbiome Balance

What we measure

Cats with persistent itching, flakes or coat-stain often have an imbalanced skin microbiome — a few strains overrepresented at the expense of the diverse community that keeps skin healthy. We use a layered protocol of antifungal-leaning cleansers, soothing oatmeal scrubs, and restorative leave-ins to bring populations back into balance over 1-2 visits. We deliberately avoid blanket-spectrum antibacterials that would also wipe out the beneficial strains.

Active ingredients

  • Ozone-Infused Water Role

Selective oxidation; cuts overgrown strains while sparing the broader community.

  • Colloidal Oatmeal Role

Anti-itch and barrier-supportive; lifts dead skin gently.

  • Amino Acid Cleansers Role

pH-aligned with feline skin (~6.5) so the cleanse isn't destabilising.

  • Honey-Derived Enzymes Role

Mild exfoliation + natural antimicrobial activity; tolerated by sensitive cats.
