Terms of Service

In short. By using catzonia.com and booking a spa or boarding stay, you agree to these terms. They sit alongside our Grooming Policy, Deposit Policy, Refund Policy, Privacy Policy, and Cookie Policy.

1. Who can book

You must be 18 years or older and the lawful owner (or authorised guardian) of the cat being booked. The mobile number and date of birth you supply must be your own.

2. The booking

  • An online booking is a request, not a guarantee. It becomes a confirmed booking once the deposit is paid and CatzoApp marks it confirmed.
  • We charge a RM20 deposit per cat at the time of booking via Billplz. For multi-cat bookings the deposit is RM20 × N.
  • The full RM20 per cat is deducted from your final bill at the outlet. See the deposit policy for refundability.
  • The discount on display at checkout (RM10 or RM5) is the saving locked in at the moment you complete payment. Once the priority window passes, the saving steps down.

3. Cancellation, no-show, late arrival

  • 24+ hours before: full refund of deposit.
  • Inside 24 hours: deposit is non-refundable.
  • No-show: deposit is non-refundable and the slot is released.
  • Late by 15+ minutes: we may need to reschedule you; the deposit may still be retained at the outlet’s discretion.

4. Grooming & boarding

The full grooming, handling, sensitive-cat, matted-coat and emergency clauses live in the Grooming Policy & Digital Waiver. By accepting that policy at checkout you confirm the rules apply to this visit and you do not need to re-sign at the outlet.

5. Referral codes & vouchers

  • Codes are personal to the referrer and can be used by anyone the referrer shares them with.
  • Codes cannot be combined with house promotions unless explicitly stated.
  • Codes have no cash value, expire if abandoned for 24 months, and may be deactivated for fraud or abuse.

6. Veterinary disclaimer

Catzonia provides grooming and boarding services, not veterinary care. Recommendations made by the Spa Picker or by our groomers are not a medical diagnosis. For wounds, severe redness, suspected infection, or behavioural distress, you must see a licensed veterinarian. We may refuse service if we believe a cat needs veterinary attention first.

7. Liability

  • We carry insurance appropriate to cat grooming and boarding in Malaysia.
  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any single incident is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months.
  • We are not liable for indirect, consequential or special losses.
  • Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the site — no scraping, no automated booking, no payment fraud, no attempts to bypass security. We may suspend accounts that violate these rules.

9. Changes to these terms

We update terms as the business evolves. The version code at the top changes when we do. Material changes are announced in product. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new terms.

10. Governing law & disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kuala Lumpur. We strongly prefer to resolve issues by talking first — write to hello@catzonia.com.
